So before writing a guest post you need to know what is this?So,Guest
blogging is contributing a unique unpublished post to a site which can
benefit both the site owner and you.Owner gets a benefit from your post
and if you guest post for a popular blog you get some backlinks and
after the penguin update the only way to get organic & targeted traffic is Guest Blogging.

• Earn some extra money(often known as freelancing).
• You get some friends who are authority in your field which benefits you.

Google established blogs or sites which post articles related to your niche and check whether they have 'Write for us' or 'Contribute' page on their sites and check their posting guidelines and then shortlist 2-3 blogs which you feel can provide you space.
Come up with a great & unique idea
Google popular topics and related keywords (Note:You'll get a free
alternative to google keyword planner,just search keyword tool) and lay
your article in notepad or something
and then contact the sites which you shortlisted with a brief
description of your content(includes headlines,title and some body
content),first contact the first one and if your post get rejected then
try others,sometimes editors take time to reply to your mails don't get
hesitated.Try all the sites you shortlisted for once and compare the
site which has good user experience and then post for them.
Study the site's content
Search over the site you shortlisted and study its content and then pick
up a topic and write with enthusiasm don't think about will you get
rejected(I experienced it when I was guest blogging for the first time)
Try all the shortlisted sites and if you get rejected then your blog is
always there for your content.
Get yourself ready for this
Getting a good background for yourself is great way for getting accepted or invited for guest blogging.Just get on to your own blog or site and publish 2-3 post which are well -researched and well-written and while contacting the sites be sure to include links to your well-written posts and include a brief and professional bio of yourself which makes your expert profile in the editor's mind which will benefit you the most.Mention link to your blog or site or the popular examples of your guest posts done by you.Common Guidelines
Some sites always have some common guidelines that are:
1)Write a post of a minimum length of 800 words(Often High Quality sites asks)
2)Don't include too many backlinks
3)Use only images or content you own or have a permission to use

Never post same articles to many sites this makes you a scam.Provide 2-3
keywords for every post at the end of the post.Only Guest Post for the
Site which is professional,Unprofessional sites often comes to be scam
and check whether the site already has a team of Guest Bloggers which
ensures that the site is not a scam.If you have an idea of the post
first check whether the site already has a similar post,If it has than
add some extra points to that post and make it lengthier and more
informative then the old only then you have chance getting
accepted.Note:Only sites with proper navigation to every post are
suitable for Guest Blogging.
